This policy explains how YeniCV handles your personal data. Last updated: 7 November 2026.
Who we are
YeniCV is operated by BUY PRESS WIRE LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Place North East Suite N, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87110 USA ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: merhaba@yenicv.com.
What we collect
- Details you enter in the builder: name, contact details, work history, education, skills and anything else you add to a CV or letter.
- The text of a CV you upload (.pdf or .docx).
- Your email address, used to sign you in and to deliver your documents.
- Order records: what you bought, the amount, the date and the PayPal transaction reference. Card details go directly to PayPal; we never receive or store them.
- Technical data needed to run and secure the site, such as IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting and security providers.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To create, store and deliver your documents and run your account — performance of our contract with you (UK/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To take payment, issue receipts and keep accounting records — contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To send marketing emails — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on the English version of the site.
Who processes your data for us
- Anthropic (USA) — generates and edits text for your documents.
- PayPal — processes payments.
- Our email provider — sends sign-in links, receipts and delivery emails.
- Our hosting provider and Cloudflare — host the site and protect it against attacks.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
International transfers
We are based in the USA and some of our providers are too, so your data is processed in the USA. Where UK or EU law requires it, transfers rely on the safeguards offered by our providers' data processing terms, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded files: deleted immediately after their text is extracted.
- CVs and letters: deleted automatically 30 days after creation. You can delete them earlier from your account.
- Order and payment records: kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and protecting forms against abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on the English site, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account and documents from your account page or by emailing merhaba@yenicv.com. We reply within one month.
If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority. Please contact us first so we can try to help.
US residents: we do not sell or share personal information, and you can ask us to access or delete it at merhaba@yenicv.com.
Children
YeniCV is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
